Privacy Policy
How we collect, store and protect your business and invoice data.
This policy explains what information Iris Connect collects, why we collect it, how it is protected, and the choices available to you. It covers our website and the FBR Digital Invoicing platform.
01 Information we collect
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, phone number, company and message you submit through our demo request form.
- Business and tax details — the registration information required to configure your FBR integration.
- Invoice data — the contents of the invoices you upload or that are read from your accounting system, including buyer and seller details, line items and tax amounts.
- Account and usage data — user accounts, submission logs, and the FBR request and response records generated when invoices are reported.
- Technical data — IP address and basic request information captured for security and abuse prevention.
02 How we use it
Enquiry details are used to respond to you and to arrange a demonstration. Business, tax and invoice data are used solely to deliver the service: extracting invoice fields, mapping them to the FBR Digital Invoicing API, submitting them, and returning the compliant invoice to you. Usage and technical data are used to operate, secure and support the platform.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your invoice contents for advertising.
03 Who your data is shared with
- The Federal Board of Revenue — invoice data is transmitted to FBR because that is the purpose of the service.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — who process data on our instructions to run the platform.
- Where required by law — in response to a lawful request from a competent authority.
We do not share your data with any other third party without your instruction.
04 Storage, security and retention
Data is protected using encryption in transit and access controls limited to staff who need it to deliver support. A copy of every reported invoice, together with its FBR request and response, is retained so that your records remain audit-ready. Records are retained for as long as your subscription is active and for the period required for tax and audit purposes afterwards.
05 Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies necessary to operate the site securely, including a session cookie and a cross-site request forgery token. If analytics are enabled in future, this policy will be updated to describe them before they are used.
06 Your choices
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete enquiry data where we are not required to retain it. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. Requests can be sent to the contact address below.
07 Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will publish the updated version on this page. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be communicated to active customers.
