These terms govern your use of the Iris Connect FBR Digital Invoicing platform, its addons and the integration services delivered by Softech Solutions. By subscribing to the service or using the software, you agree to them.

01 The service we provide

Iris Connect is a web-based platform that extracts data from your sales tax invoices, maps it to the Federal Board of Revenue Digital Invoicing API, submits it, and returns a compliant invoice carrying the FBR transaction number, transaction code, QR code and logo. Optional addons cover IRIS 2.0 reconciliation and QuickBooks Desktop reporting.

Your subscription includes integration setup, clearance of the FBR sandbox scenarios applicable to your business activity, migration to the production environment, training, support, and compliance updates for the duration of the subscription.

02 Subscription, setup and payment

Packages are selected on the basis of your average monthly invoicing volume. A one-time setup fee applies to new integrations as published on our pricing page. Subscription fees are payable in advance for the billing period selected.

All prices are exclusive of applicable government taxes. Services Sales Tax is charged on the final invoice at the rate applicable to our jurisdiction. Where your invoicing volume consistently exceeds the package you hold, we will contact you to move you to the appropriate package.

03 Your responsibilities

• Providing accurate business, tax registration and invoice data.
• Obtaining and maintaining your own FBR credentials and API authorisation.
• Reviewing extracted invoice data before submission — you remain responsible for the accuracy of what is reported in your name.
• Keeping user access credentials secure and notifying us of any suspected compromise.
• Using the platform only for lawful reporting of your own business transactions.

04 Compliance responsibility

We build, operate and maintain the technical integration with FBR, and we keep the platform aligned with changes FBR makes to the Digital Invoicing API, SROs and reporting structures. We do not act as your tax advisor. Determining your tax treatment, sale types, rates and filing obligations remains your responsibility and that of your tax advisor.

05 Availability and support

We aim to keep the platform continuously available, but availability may be affected by scheduled maintenance, third-party hosting, your internet connectivity, or the availability of FBR's own systems. Where FBR services are unavailable, invoices are queued and retried automatically.

Support is available 24/7 by phone and WhatsApp in Urdu and English. High-priority issues carry a 12–24 hour resolution target.

06 Intellectual property

The platform, its interfaces, models and documentation remain the intellectual property of Softech Solutions. Your invoice data, customer data and business records remain yours at all times. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your data to us.

07 Confidentiality

We treat your commercial and tax information as confidential. It is used solely to deliver the service, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties except as required to transmit invoices to FBR, to operate the hosting infrastructure, or where required by law.

08 Limitation of liability

We are liable for delivering the service described in these terms with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for penalties, assessments or losses arising from inaccurate data supplied to us, from your own tax positions, from FBR system outages outside our control, or from your failure to review submissions. Our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

09 Term and termination

Subscriptions continue for the period paid and may be renewed or changed by agreement. Either party may terminate for material breach that remains unremedied after written notice. On termination, we will provide a reasonable export of your reported invoice data on request.

10 Changes and governing law

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or in regulatory requirements, and will publish the revised version on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
